1. What does the muffler do on a chainsaw?
The muffler on a chainsaw is designed to manage the engine's exhaust flow. While many might assume it's for noise reduction, our Top Handle Muffler is specifically engineered to enhance the sound, making it louder and more satisfying for true chainsaw aficionados, all the while improving performance and reducing heat.
2. Does upgrading my chainsaw with a Top Handle Muffler affect its warranty?
It's always best to check with your chainsaw manufacturer or consult your warranty documentation. Our Top Handle Mufflers are designed for easy installation and aim to provide significant performance benefits without compromising your equipment's integrity.
Just Damn Awesome... the torque and power unlocked in my Stihl T193 is impressive
Just love the popping resonance and energy. I run my 201 with Speed cut Nano and a WCS Bark Box. No other mods needed. 👌🏼
It lines up just fine. On both that I ordered, be mindful that the screen is oh a 1/8 or 16th too tall for the width of the assembled muffler so gently slide it together a bit when assembling dont expect it to perfectly clam shell together. (This was my experience with 2 of them.) and be careful on the bolts that attach the muffler together, they are weak, I snapped the head of the bolt right off with minimal tightening pressure. Hence why I bought a 2nd muffler. Didnt want to have to drill out the bolt and rethread etc.
