  • Those using full-comp, semi-skip, and full-skip chains who require precise raker measurement for optimal cutting.

FAQ 1:
How high should chainsaw rakers be?
For optimal cutting, the rakers should be set 0.025 inches lower than the cutters on the chain. The Westcoast Saw Depth Plate makes it easy to adjust to this standard, ensuring smooth and efficient cuts.

FAQ 2:
How to use a chainsaw depth plate?
To use the chainsaw depth plate, simply place it over the top of the rakers on the chain. Adjust the raker height by filing until the raker aligns with the desired depth setting, indicated by the depth plate.

The plate worked fine. It's made of good quality metal.

My only question was how to use the "sprocket wear" feature. Guess I am still wondering as no one explains it.
